BioMetRx is a personal health dashboard. This policy explains what data we handle, how it is stored, and the control you have over it.

Data we handle

BioMetRx stores the health information you enter or connect — such as blood pressure, weight, glucose, medication, activity and lab markers — together with the account details needed to sign you in (email address and profile preferences).

On Android, BioMetRx can read your daily step count and heart rate from Health Connect if you choose to link it. This access is read-only; we never write data back to Health Connect.

How your data is used

• Stored only in your personal account, protected by row-level security
• Used solely to show you your own metrics and calculate your BioMetRx Age
• Never sold or shared with third parties
• Never used for advertising
• Accessible only by you when logged in

Storage

Your data is stored in Supabase with row-level security policies that ensure only you can access your own records. See our Data Security page for more detail.

Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile page within the app.

Cookies and analytics

Our public website uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our pages — for example which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors are located — so we can improve the site. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and processes this information on our behalf as an aggregated, pseudonymous measure of site usage.

This analytics runs only on the public website (biometrx.co.uk). It does not run inside the app and never has access to your health data. The information is used only to measure site usage — never for advertising, and never sold.

You can opt out by declining cookies in your browser, by using Google's Analytics opt-out add-on, or by browsing in private/incognito mode. See Google's privacy policy for how Google handles this data.
